DIM provides training and resources to inmates behind the walls and then works with them,
connecting them to resources and service providers when they return home. We also serve ex-
offenders. The service we provide include referrals for employment training, employment,
housing and other support resources. DIM’s primary focus is to support, empower, and facilitate
the restoration of individuals, families and communities by reducing the flow of citizens into
jails, prisons community correction centers and halfway houses by helping reentrants transition
back into society. We refer reentrants to numerous training programs including the Introduction
to the Construction Trade, APRI, Century Careers and Pitt Mac Manufacturing Training
Programs.
